Look around the area you live and see if there are historical markers, waterfalls, or scenic vistas that you can set as a destination for your hike. Having a specific destination keeps your focus looking forward instead of worrying about the walk.
Finally, think about the little kid that is in all of us and choose exercise that appeals to that youthful side. Did you love jumping in moon bounces when you were a child? You can still do that, or you can use a trampoline instead. These are unconventional workouts that are fun and get your body moving and stretching.
